At 3 o’clock Thursday at the Monroe Baptist Church occurred the funeral of Hazel, the seven months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cook. The funeral service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. R. A. Smith, who spoke touchingly of the little bud. The pallbearers were four little girls dressed in white. The church was full of sympathizing friends.
