Rev. J. A. Ferguson, who was pastor of the United Presbyterian Church in this city some twenty years ago but who had been retired, died last Friday at his home in Sterling, Kansas, and was buried at 11 o’clock yesterday. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily Herald, Monday, May 4, 1903, Page 1, Column 3
