Patsy D. Lewis, 73, of Colfax died Friday, Feb, 15, 2013, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will follow at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today Feb. 18, at the funeral home with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Patsy D. Lewis, age 73 of Colfax, died Friday, February 15, 2013, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. The daughter of Nova and Mary (Bradley) Earles, Patsy was born on October 18, 1939, in Liscomb, Iowa. On December 22, 1956 she was united in marriage to Richard W. Lewis in Newton. Patsy enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her garden and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Terry (Deana) Lewis of Monroe, Darlene (David) Berkenbosch of Newton and Lori (Mike) Williams of Colfax; six grandchildren, Jason Lewis, Lindsay (Travis) Landwehr, Nick (Ann) Williams, Andy Berkenbosch, Adam (Randi) Williams, and Bradley Berkenbosch; three great grandchildren, Charlotte, Victoria, and Henry. Also surviving are her siblings, Barbara Dhondt of Missouri, Bill Earles of Colfax, Brenda Jones of Colfax, Sherrie Rutherford of Gilman, Karen Kendall of Eldora and Wilma Churchill of Newton; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Lewis and Nancy Lewis as well as several nieces and nephews.
