Beth S. Brown, 53, of Newton died on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2013, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.

The family will greet friends from 5:30-8 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2013, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials in Beth’s name be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Brown Family on the envelope.

Beth was a Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist, owning her shop, Studio One Hair Designs in Newton for 13 years.

Survivors include her husband, Paul of Newton; four daughters, Lynna (Ben) Lukehart of Aurora, Colorado, Leslie Falcone of West Des Moines, Valery Falcone of Ames, and Niki Brown of Earlham; her father, George E. (Joan) Klein of Darlington, Pennsylvania; sister, Leanne (Dan) Paranik of Beaver, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Dan (Denise) Klein of Darlington, Pennsylvania, and Dave Klein of Columbus, Ohio; step grandmother, Emilie Wells of North Fairfield, Ohio; and her niece, Chelsea Moherman.

Beth was a graduate of Blackhawk High School in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania in 1977. She also completed cosmetology school.

Beth was a Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist in her own shop, Studio One Hair Designs in Newton which she owned for 13 years.

Beth was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed nature, gardening, horses, and she just loved people.
