Dorothy Alice Myers, 97, passed away December 26, 2012 at Calvin Community, where she lived since 2004. Dorothy was born January 9, 1915 in Searsboro, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Tahash) Brignon. Dorothy lived in Des Moines since 1934. She worked as a secretary for the US Department of Agriculture until her retirement in 1980. Dorothy was united in marriage to Atlee Myers on December 27, 1952 in Des Moines. Atlee preceded her in death in 1967.

Dorothy is survived by nieces, Jan Robertson of Newton, Norma Innis of Grinnell and Wanda Pope of Brownsville, Texas; and nephews, Kenneth Main of Marshalltown and Richard Brignon of Grinnell.

Private burial will be at a later date at the I.O.O. F. Cemetery, Searsboro, Iowa. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa.
