Again is a home invaded, and from its circle taken a wife and mother. After a long and painful illness in which were exemplified patience, fortitude and Christian submission, the end came last night to Mrs. Sarah Porter, wife of David Porter, at their home southeast of the city. Mrs. Porter was an old resident of Jasper County and her death brings sorrow to a host of friends. The funeral will be held at the Baptist Church at 3 o’clock tomorrow.
