Mrs. McKinzie Owens died at her home in Grinnell Sunday after a long and lingering illness with cancer. She had suffered greatly and the end came as a welcome relief to herself and friends who had so tenderly cared for her. The lived in the Rushville neighborhood until a couple of years ago, when they moved to Grinnell. The funeral occurred Tuesday in Grinnell, interment being in the cemetery at Rushville Tuesday afternoon. A number of friends went down from her to attend the services.
