Mrs. Adrian B. Richards died at her home in this city last Saturday at 1:30 p.m. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Frary of this city and was born in Brodhead, Wis., July 20, 1860. They came to Newton some ten years ago and she was married to Mr. Richards June 1, 1893.

Deceased was of such a disposition that she had very many friends and she will be greatly missed in the circle in which she moved. She had a cheerful, happy manner that brought sunshine with her presence. She had been in poor health for some time but it was hoped, after she had gone through some severe operations that she might be well, but it seemed that such was not to be.

The funeral occurred Monday afternoon at the Congregational Church, Rev. Cowan conducting the services. Friends provided a profusion of rich flowers and the music rendered was very appropriate. The stricken husband and other relatives have the sympathy of all.
