Jack E. Gray, 45, of Newton died on August 21, 2012, at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 27, 2012, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. Visitation: The family will greet friends from 1-2 P.M., Monday, August 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
Those left to honor Jack's memory are his wife, Marie Gray of Newton; mother, Charlotte (Mike) Hall of Sioux Falls, SD; father, Tom (Lynn) Gray of Ira; his sister, Chris Gray of Sacremento, CA; grandmother, Martha Godfrey of Newton; and his 2 nieces, Charlotte and Catherine Gray.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Jack graduted from Mingo High School in 1985 and continued his education in Diesel Mechanics. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Freighliner in Des Moines for 12 years.

Jack enjoyed racing, especially going to the Knoxville Raceway and cheering for Terry McCarl.
