Newton, Iowa, formerly of Baxter, Iowa

Visitation: The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M., Monday, June 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
Interment: Immediately following the burial on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Restland Cemetery in Baxter, Iowa.

Those left to honor Evelyn's memory are her daughter, Kellie Beesley of Newton; son, Keith Kinney of Plainfield, Illinois; her step-daughter, Nadine (Don) Perkey of Hunstville, Alabama; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Johnston, Jordan Beesley, Broc Kinney, and Kelsey Kinney; her sister, Ann Evans; 3 brothers, Bill, Steve, and Raymond Rutledge; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Charlene (Kellogg) Rutledge; husband, David Kinney in 2009; and a brother, Larry Rutledge.

Evelyn owned and operated Evie's Restaurant in Baxter for several years.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and cooking.

Memorials to Newton Healthcare Center may be left at the funeral home.
