Visitation: The family will greet friends from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, February 05, 2012 at the funeral home. A Public Masonic Service will be at 5 p.m., following the visitation.
Funeral Service: 1 p.m., Monday, February 06, 2012 at the funeral home. Military Honors by the Iowa Honor Guard of the Iowa Army National Guard in Johnston.
Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Monday, February 06, 2012 at the Rock Creek Cemetery in Rock Creek Township, Jasper County, Iowa.

Those left to honor David's memory are his wife of 53 years, Carolyn; four sons, David (Lisa) Krumm of Rock Creek, Donald (Robin) Krumm of Grinnell, Dean (Lynda) Krumm of Iowa Falls, and Daniel (Sharon) Krumm of Rock Creek; daughter, Kim (Todd) Brammer of Wylie, Texas; his eleven grandchildren, Jenny, Samantha (Aaron), Allyson, Heather, Kourtney, Brandon, Madison, Michelle, David, Melissa, and Kaitlee; great-grandson, Epic; and his brother, Paul (Micki) Krumm of Kanopolis, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Esther (Vore) Krumm; two sisters, Mary Esther Poe, and Ruth Weaver; and brother, John Krumm.

David served his country in the U. S. Army from 1955-1963.

David was a graduate of Scattergood School in West Branch, Iowa in 1950.

David worked in the maintenance department for the Maytag Company for 18+ years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Newton Lodge No. 59 A.F. & A.M., Victor Grange of Rock Creek Township, Kellogg Lions Club, Iowa Search & Rescue, Treasurer of the Parsons Credit Union.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Skiff Cancer Clinic or to the Rock Creek Grange Camp may be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Krumm Family on the envelope. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa.
