Tommy Evans, a seven-year-old son of a miner in Couch’s Coal Mines, was drowned in a bayou, south of the mines on Wednesday last. He and two other companions of about the same age got into an old skiff, which they accidently overturned, with the result stated. It was a sad ending to the sport of the children
