Cleo T. Brown, 82, of Newton died on Monday, April 18, 2011, at Hospice of Jasper County’s Monarch Wing in Newton.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the Linn Grove Cemetery in rural Prole. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.
Survivors include his three sons, Randy (Judy) Brown of Osceola, Russell (Kathy) Brown of Elkhart, Ind., and Gary Brown of Anamosa; step-daughter, Marleana (Bill) McLead of Newton; step-son, Craig (Gloria) Pazzi of Newton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Leland (Marguerite) Brown of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and his sister, Elner (Ray) McGrean of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline in 2003; two sons, Larry, and Dennis Brown; and 10 brothers and sisters.
