YOUNG MAN PASSES TO HIS REWARD AT EARLY AGE OF THIRTY

The many, many friends of William Gardner will be grieved to learn of his death which occurred last evening at 5:30 o'clock at his home on 8. Farmer street. For the past five years he has passed thru a desperate struggle for life, but as the months went by it became quite evident to his family and friends that he could not hope to survive. This end came last evening peacefully and his final hours brought little of pain and suffering.

Mr. Gardner leaves a wife and three little girls, Mabel, aged eight, Florence aged 6, and Martha aged 3. His wife has ministered to his every want during his long illness. She has nursed her husband almost night and day during many stages of his illness.

The sympathy of the entire vicinity will be hers now that she is alone with the three little girls.

Mr. Gardner was the son of ? and Archie Gardner. He leaves his mother, four brothers, Henry of Des Moines, John of this vicinity, Archie and James who still live at home. A sister, Mrs. Belle Ramsey lives in Colorado Springs but she came here about six weeks ago to be near her brother during his final sickness.
