Thelma Irene (Herwehe) Ammons, 104, of Wana, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 28, 2011. Thelma was born June 2, 1906, on a farm near Monroe.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Gearhart of Newton, and many nieces and nephews.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Mabel; her sister, Vera; and her husband Dexter.
Burial will be in West Virginia. Condolences may be sent to the family c/o Jennifer Good.
