Grandma Harris, living a few miles east of Monroe, died last Thursday and was buried on Saturday in the east Monroe Cemetery. She was ninety-one years old, and for some years had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Stines. ~ The Newton Record, Friday, March 27, 1896, Page 4, Column 5 - Monroe
