We were sorry to learn that the cold hand of death had reached the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Cowman and removed from it the tender blossom that had been entrusted to their care, but he who giveth also has power to take away, and may the thought that their dear one awaits them in heaven, comfort them in their sad hours of affliction. ~ The Newton [IA] Record, Friday, April 17, 1896, Page 5, Column 3 – Pleasant Hill
