HOERLING, KOESTER

DIED- At her home near Horn, Iowa, on Monday Oct. 14, 1889, of heart disease, Mrs. Wilhemena Sophia Hoerling, aged 78 years, 10 months, and 24 days. Deceased was born in Germany, in November 1810, came to this country in 1856; first went to Wisconsin and came to this county in 1869. Her maiden name was Koester, and she was married to Herman Hoerling about 45 years ago. Three children were born of this union, two of whom died young, and one is still living, who with the husband mourn her death. The funeral services were held at the German Lutheran Church, north of this city, conducted by Rev. H. Huebschmann, the pastor, assisted by Rev. A. Kane, after which a large number of sorrowing friends followed the remains to their last resting place in the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
The friends of the deceased request us to return their sincere thanks to those persons who in this hour of bereavement, were so kind and thoughtful and in their ministrations of comfort and aid.
