David E. Stattelman, 16, and Dakota C. Stattelman, 14, both of Newton, formerly of Waterloo, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home, 1115 E. 19th St. N. in Newton. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in David and Dakota’s names be left at the funeral home.
Survivors include their parents, Angela and Charles Loudermilk; sister, Kaylee Stattelman; two step brothers, Nicholas Loudermilk and Christopher Loudermilk; their two grandmothers, Linda Stattelman and Bette Loudermilk, all of Newton; great-grandmother, Luella Hart of Waterloo; and their many aunts, uncles and cousins.
They were preceded in death by their grandfather, Gary Stattelman, and uncle, Richard Barber.
