The body of Ray Elliott, the boy who was supposed to have been stolen by Gypsies, at Marengo, and for the recovery of whom the entire people of Iowa have been attempting for the last three months to find, was recently found in a rain water barrel, at the barn near his father's residence. The body was in a fearfully decomposed condition. ~ The Newton Journal, Wednesday, August 23, 1893.
