FRANK MATTESON DIES AT HOME IN ROCK CREEK TWP

TURNER, Special: The community was shocked Saturday morning by the sudden death of Frank Matteson, an old-time resident of Rock Creek neighborhood.

He apparently was feeling as well as usual Friday, but death came sometime Friday night.

He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Matteson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dwight Pearce and Mrs. Harry Crowder of Grinnell.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. W. B. Wilson will be held from the home in Rock Creek township Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Rock Creek cemetery.

Mr. Matteson passed his seventy-third birthday last September.
