Funeral Service: 11 A.M., Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the funeral home.

Interment: Immediately following a lunch at the funeral home on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Aston Chapel Cemetery.

Those left to honor Marta's memory are her husband, James of rural Collins; son, Eric L. (and Cheryl) Maxwell of Baldwinsville, New York; her daughter, Denise M. (and Gary)
Walker of Cumming, Georgia; 2 granddaughters, Brittney A. and Ashlea N. Maxwell of Baldwinsville, New York; and her 2 step-grandchildren, Kiel C. Walker and Rosanne R. (and Casper) Brixius of Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Erich and Herta (Klein) Weisser

(appears to be missing text, typed as written) raising their two children, Eric and Denise. Later she worked at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada, Iowa for 12 years.

Memorials to the Animal rescue League of Iowa may be left at the funeral home.

Marta grew up and attended school in Limbach, German. After her schooling she worked as an Au Pair in Switzerland and Germany before being united in marriage with James Maxwell in Darmstadt, Germany in 1967. After their marriage they made their home in Collins, Iowa. Marta was a homemaker. ~ Newspaper date and name unknown.
