Karen L. (Crabtree) Haning-Hanks-Harten, 73, Newton, formerly of Nisswa, Minn., died Monday, July 5, 2010. at Careage of Newton in Newton.
No services are scheduled. As per her wishes, she has been cremated, and her cremated remains will be buried at the Lake Edward Cemetery in Nisswa, Minn.
Survivors include her two daughters, Kim (Robbie) Howe of Newton and Maria Stanley of Newton; her two sons, Randy Haning of Independence, La., and Kevin Haning of Newton; three grandchildren, Jenny (Jay) Jensen, Grace Stanley and Alivia Stanley; great-grandson, Henry Jensen; her brother, Ray (Betty) Crabtree of Hermitage, Mo.; and her sister, Colleen Brayton of Des Moines, Iowa.
Local arrangements are being handled by the Wallace Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton.

Karen L. Hanks-Harten was born August 20, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Earl and Zelma Mildred (Garrett) Crabtree. Karen was a graduate of Newton High School in 1954.
