Mabel L. Lepley, 77, of Newton died Monday, May 31, 2010, at the Hospice of Jasper County Monarch Wing in Newton.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends with a coffee time from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Richard “Dick” Lepley of Newton; three sons, Steve (Kay) Lepley of Newton, Wesley (Tressa) Lepley of Newton and Brad Lepley of Newton; four grandchildren, Kelly Johnston, Josh Lepley, Nick (Colleen) Lepley and Rachel Lepley; four great-grandchildren, Rion, Alyssa, Kamya and Gavin; her sister, Shirley (John) Besco of Sigourney; and brother, Larry King and family of Eldora.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Keith Lepley.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, Ross Albert and Mildred D.(Gragg) King; and her son, Keith Lepley.
Mabel was a housewife who enjoyed staying home to raise and look after her family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Newton. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and taking care of her family.
Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the funeral home.
Interment: Following the memorial service on Thursday, June 03, 2010 at Newton Union Cemetery.
