Former Resident Dies

Word has been received in Baxter of the death of a former resident, Frank Edgar Walton.

Mr. Walton, 72, died on Dec. 25 at his home in Bridgeton, N. J. Services were held at the First Baptist church in Bridgeton. Burial was in Cross Anchor cemetery.

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Margaret Owenby Walton, two sons, Cletus Rhea of Detroit, Mich., and James Edgar of Bridgeton; three daughters, Mrs. Everett Moore, Jr., Mrs. Joe Mitchell of Greenville and Mrs. Cl. L. Hutchins of Kernersville, N. C.; 8 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. A. G. Black of Oklahoma City, Okla. ~ Baxter New Era, Wednesday, February 14, 1962
