Leona M. (Rohr) Mills, 87, of Newton, formerly of Gilman, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at the Heritage Manor Care Center in Newton.
A funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 23, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Friends may call from noon Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.

Leona M. (Rohr) Mills was born April 08, 1923. Those left to honor Leona's memory are her sister-in-law, Ola Norris of Dumas, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Iva M. (Swift) Rohr; and husband, Opal in 2006. Leona was a graduate of Gilman High School. Leona was a homemaker and farmer’s wife. Leona was a member of the Community Church in Gilman. She enjoyed people, dancing and playing cards. Memorials to the Heritage Manor Care Center Activities Fund may be left at the funeral home.
Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Prairie View Cemetery in Gilman, Iowa.
