Donald D. “Don” Deakins, 47, of Kellogg died on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at his home in Kellogg.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.
Those left to honor Don’s memory are his wife, Rhonda Deakins of Kellogg; daughter, Ashli Lewis of Colfax; step-daughter, Shawna Rawlins of Newton; his two grandchildren, Tristan and Tory; sister, Denise (Bob) Gilbert of Des Moines; and his nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lorena (Garrison) Deakins and his brother, Dennis Deakins.
He was a graduate of Colfax-Mingo High School in 1981.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Don's name may be left at the funeral home.
