Death of Wm. B. Hayes

William B. Hayes died at the home of his parents near Reasnor, on Monday morning, December 12th, at 2:30 o’clock. Although Mr. Hayes and been a sufferer for many months, his final illness which confined him to his bed was only for one week. His disease was of the stomach and bowels. His wife died about six years ago, leaving him with one little daughter now eight year of age, who is now also robbed of a tender, loving father. Mr. Hayes is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Hayes, and by one brother and three sisters: Lee Hayes, Mrs. Andrew Zondervan, Mrs. Virgil Blackledge and Miss Nannie Hayes-the latter having tenderly assisted in the care of her brother during all his distressing illness. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion M. E. Chapel yesterday at one o’clock p.m. conducted by Rev. Frank Seeds, pastor of the Reasnor M. E. Church. ~ Newspaper unknown.
