Died at San Diego

A telegram from San Diego, California, to A. M. Carl last Monday, told of the death of W. W. Hollingsworth which occurred there Monday morning and that the remains would be brought to Kellogg for interment. Mr. Hollingsworth’s death was no surprise to his friends here who have known of his condition for some time. He was engaged in the music business here for years in partnership with A. M. Carl. Mrs. Hollingsworth was formerly Miss Lizzie Stolte. They have one daughter, Gladys, about 13 year sof age. He was a brother of Jacob Hollingsworth of this city.

W. W. HOLLINGSWORTH DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Telegram from San Diego Stated the Body Would be Brought to Kellogg for Interment

A. M. Carl has received a telegram from San Diego, California, saying W. W. Hollingsworth died in that city at 4 p.m. Monday, March 25, (1912) and the body would be brought to Kellogg for interment.

Mr. Hollingsworth’s home was in or around Kellogg before he moved to Newton and went into the music store with A. M. Carl.

For sixteen years he was employed in the H. M. Cox hardware store in Kellogg, as book keeper and clerk.

He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge of Kellogg when he resided there.

Mr. Hollingsworth married Miss Lizzie Stolte, a daughter of Louie Stolte of this city. She was a teacher at that time in the Kellogg schools. They had one daughter, Gladys, who is now about thirteen years of age. When the family moved to the warmer country is was with hopes that the climate would benefit the health of the daughter. At that time Mr. Hollingsworth did not have the best of health and it is understood they had planned to leave soon for Arizona when his death occurred. ~ Newspaper unknown
