Harold Beyer, 89, of Sully, died on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the Sully Christian Reformed Church, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Sully Christian Reformed Church. The Wallace Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Harold Beyer was born January 06, 1920.
Those left to honor Harold's memory are his wife, Grace of Sully; 3 sons, Melvin (Linda) Beyer of Russellville, Arkansas, Dwight (Joyce) Beyer of Lynnville, and Russell (Charlotte) Beyer of Pella; his 7 grandchildren, Shawn (Jennifer) Beyer, Jason (Kari) Beyer, Chantelle Beiner (Brett Lundberg), Krisha Beyer, Emily (Matt) VerMeer, Kendi Beyer, and Mallory Beyer; 5 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, and Cody Beyer and Dylann and Derek Beiner; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Josie (DeZwarte) Beyer; a grandson, Scott Beyer; 4 brothers, Lester Beyer, Bill Beyer, his twin-brother, Harris Beyer, and a brother, Harold, in infancy; and a sister, Luella Beyer.
Harold was a farmer for many years. He also worked at the Elevator in Searsboro and later at the Elevator in Lynnville. He was a member of the Sully Christian Reformed Church, where he folded and delivered bulletins to the elderly for many years and also helped out with sew days at the church. He was also past President of the Sully Senior Citizens and a past 4-H Club Leader. He enjoyed doing volunteer auctioneering for many events at Lynnville-Sully School and also with the Ruth Circle at the church. He loved to garden and give much of what he planted to his neighbors and friends. Harold also loved to visit with people anywhere he was at.
Interment: Immediately following the funeral service on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Sully Cemetery.
