The sympathy of many friends is with Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Baarda and family, into whose home has come a great sorrow by the death of their son Nicholas, who passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 1918, following an illness of influenza and other complications. He was the second son in the family and is survived by his parents, four sisters and four brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Anna Nicholls of near Killduff, Lizzie, Paulina and Matilda, at home, and the brothers, John, Richard, Joseph and William, all at home. Funeral services were held at the home the following Monday and interment was made at Sully.
