Jerry A. Pearson, 53, of Newton died Friday, July 17, 2009. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. today, July 20, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Jerry was born on June 13, 1956, to Morris and Esther Pearson in Monroe and spent most of his adult life in Newton. He worked in construction for many years and enjoyed going West with his brother, watching westerns on T.V., spending time with friends and the outdoors.
Jerry is survived by his sisters, Linda (Alan) Rundall and Judy Singer; his brothers, Joe, Jeff, Jack and Jim Pearson; many nieces and nephews; and a host of beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
