MARYVILLE, Mo. — Dorothy Myers, 93, of Maryville, Mo., died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Parkdale Care Center in Maryville.
Besides a Legion of Mary Rosary on Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home in Maryville, a parish prayer service at the funeral home Tuesday, there also was a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 1, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Maryville, Mo.

Dorothy Myers, Maryville, age 93, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Parkdale Care Center, Maryville.
Dorothy was born October 15, 1915, at Conception Junction, Missouri, to Thomas and Agatha (Berg) Lyons, and lived most of her life in the Maryville area. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School, then was employed at the local ASCS office.
She married Joseph William Myers on April 11, 1942, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Gregory's Church, St. Gregory's Guild, St. Gerard's Circle, Friendly Neighbor's Club and the Herron Homemaking Circle. She was an American Red Cross volunteer for 28 years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Myers on February 16, 1977, her parents and her sister, Marie Lyons.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan Myers, Newton, Iowa and Kathy Otte and her husband, Rod, Maryville; grandsons, Adam Otte and his wife, Allison, Kansas City and Paul Otte, Columbia; and great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Lauren Otte, Kansas City.
A Legion of Mary Rosary will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Price Funeral Home. The visitation will be followed by a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville.
Donations may be made to the St. Gregory School fund or to donor's choice.
