PELLA — Mrs. Lenora J. (Van Rees) Nikkel, 82, of Pella passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at her residence.
Lenora, wife of the late Bernie M. Nikkel, is survived by 10 children, Wayne (Kimberly) Nikkel of Ankeny, Tim (Evelyn) Nikkel, Marianne (Marion) Vink of Pella, Lynnette (Gary) Christensen of Sully, Cynthia (Loren) Bogaards of Pella, Dan (Joan) Nikkel of Oskaloosa, Sharon (Brett) Musgrove of Pella, Krista (Randy) Stromley of Urbandale, Marty Nikkel of Pella and Nora (Wayne) Ritter of Sully.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Christian Reformed Church in Pella with interment following in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella. Visitation will begin Thursday morning at the Faith Christian Reformed Church where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
The family has designated Bethany Christian Services for memorial contributions.
