Shultus, Leta

Monroe – On Friday at eleven o’clock occurred the funeral of Mrs. Leta Shultus from the M. E. Church. She died at Story City, where her husband was engaged in the work of teaching, but at her request, was brought to Monroe, her girlhood home to be buried. She was a bright and winsome woman and was a graduate of our high school and afterwards taught in the Monroe school. ~ The Newton Record, Part Two, Friday, December 13, 1895, Page 6, Column 4
