JAMES E. WARING DIES AT REASNOR; SERVICES MONDAY

REASNOR (Special) -- James E. Waring, 80, a resident of Jasper county and the Reasnor community since 1876, died at his home here at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Reasnor Methodist church. The Rev. H.B. Fay of Ladora, assisted by the Rev. Richard Viney of Reasnor, will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Palo Alto cemetery.

Morgan Loehr Funeral Home of Newton will have charge of the services. The casket will be open at the church but will be closed shortly before service time.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Beula Wuerl of Thompson Falls, Mont.; three sons, Oakley Waring of Butte, Mont., Curtis Waring of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Derrel Waring of Reasnor; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. E.C. Hensen of Des Moines and Mrs. Faye Worth of Monroe; and three brothers, C.C. Waring of California, C.V. Waring of Newton and J.L. Waring of Lorimer. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, sister and two children.

The son of John and Martha Waring, he was born March 13, 1872, at Pella, moving to Reasnor with his parents four years later. He was educated in Jasper county schools and had been a carpenter in Reasnor for many years.

He was married to Hazel Williams Oct. 7, 1916, in Newton.
