COLFAX — Daniel F. Hadsall, 55, of Colfax died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at his home. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 2:30 p.m. at the Colfax United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Jasper County and online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.
The son of Francis and Marcile (Yockum) Hadsall, Dan was born on Aug. 4, 1953, in Des Moines. He graduated from Colfax High School in 1971. On July 7, 1972, he was united in marriage to Nancy L. Sickora in Colfax. Dan worked at Ralph N. Smith Inc. as a commercial floor layer and retired in September of 2008. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and never finished a project because he was always talking to the “good ole boys!” He had a great capacity to love people and enjoyed his grandbabies. Those left to honor his memory are his wife Nancy of Colfax; three children Bree (Mike) Cooper of Mitchellville, Jill (Wes) Miller of Omaha, Neb., and Ryan (Jenny) Hadsall of Eden Prairie, Minn.; a grandson, Aidan Cooper and a granddaughter, Leah Hadsall; his mother, Marcile (Gerry) Condreay of Mountain Home, Ark.; a brother, Dale (Stephanie) Hadsall of Roland; and a sister, Tina (Scott) Byal of Mingo.
Preceding Dan in death were his father, Francis and two sisters, Victoria Mahon and Cherri Hadsall.
