GRINNELL — Eylene Brush, 91, of Grinnell, formerly of Lynnville, died on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First Friends Church in Lynnville. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville.
Memorials may be directed to the First Friends Church of Lynnville, the Lynnville Historical Society or to the Jasper County 4-H.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell beginning at noon on Sunday with the family present at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Brush.

Eylene was born on February 20, 1917, on the family farm near Lynnville, Iowa to Fred and Alverta Sparks Ratliff. She attended the Junction School and later graduated from Lynnville High School. On December 27, 1936, she was married to Leonard Dale Brush in Sully, Iowa.
