INDIANOLA, IA. - Threasa Wallace Putz, 79, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Westview Care Cetner, where she was a resident. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rosemount, with burial in Belmont Cemetery at Milo.

Mrs. Putz was born in Milo and lived in Milo and Lacona before moving to the care center in September. She was a homemaker and member of the Catholic Church.

Among survivors are her husband, Louis; a son, Charles Wallace of Moravia; six stepsons, Marvin of Monroe, Larry and Jim, both of Newton, and Bernard, Jerome and Delbert, all of Lacona; three daughters, Betty Higgins and Shirley Hunt, both of Milo, and Doris Higgins of Centerville; three stepdaughters, Rose Smith of Reasnor, Mae Chambers of Davenport and Carol Wallace of Lacona; two brothers, Herman Heinen of Luverne and Bernard Heinen of Madrid; two sisters, Bernadine Tosseth of Bismarck, N.D., and Dorothy Forutch of West Bend; 44 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 7:15 p.m. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register, March 1991
