Mrs. Jas. Paulson Of Kellogg Dies

Kellogg, Ia., Dec. 30, Special:

Mrs. James Paulson, a resident of this vicinity for the past 55 years, died [26 Dec 1932] at her home here Monday evening following an illness of several years' duration.

Mrs. Paulson was born [15 Mar 1856, nee Christina Marie Peterson] in Denmark and came to the United States at the age of twenty years, locating at this place where she has since made her home. Funeral services were held at the Christian church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. W. G. Weber, pastor of the local Lutheran church in charge of the rites. Burial was made in the family lot in Our Silent City.

Surviving relatives include her husband, James [Hanson] Paulson; four daughters, Mrs. Wm. Veber, Mrs. Sheridan Rice of Grinnell, Mrs. Olin Murphy of Murphy and Mrs. Ed Tough of Earlham; and one sister, Mrs. Michael Sorenson of this place.
