KELLOGG - John M. Paul, 68, of Kellogg died Thursday, June 23, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

The Rev. Mike Johnson, pastor of the Kellogg Christian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Our Silence City Cemetery in Kellogg.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, June 1994

KELLOGG - Funeral services for John M. Paul, 68, a longtime resident of Kellogg, were held today, June 27, at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

The Rev. Mike Johnson, pastor of the Kellogg Christian Church, conducted services. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.

He died Thursday at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Survivors are four sons, Michael John, Steven Craig and Jeffery Lynn, all of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Douglas Mark as Mc Donough, Ga.; two daughters Patricia Marie Lahthier and Cindy Paul Reynolds, both of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Marlow W. of Bear Creek, N. C., Mac E. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Delmar S. of Vallejo, Calif.; and his mother, Pearl Paul of Baxter.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Paul, a pipefitter, plummer and construction superintendent, he was a member of the Pipefitters Union in Oklahoma City, Okla.

He had been a machinist's mate third class in the Navy during World War II.

The son of Marion H. and Pearl Shill Paul, he was born August 11, 1925 in Jasper County and attended Laurel schools.

Mr. Paul also had resided in Lamoille and Waterville, Minn. ~ The Newton (IA) daily News, June 1994
