CHARITON, IA. - Henry A. Nielsen, 85, of Chariton died of a heart ailment Tuesday at his daughter's home in Sully. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fielding Funeral Home, with burial in the Chariton Cemetery.

Mr. Nielsen, a retired farmer, was born in Libertyville, Ill., and moved to Lucas County from Jasper County in 1950.

He is survived by four sons, Robert of Newton and Harold, Carl and Dale, all of Chariton; a daughter, Henrietta DeJong; a sister, Lillie Nielsen of Chariton; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Progress Industries in Newton. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Regiser November 1990
