Sarah Etta Ferguson, daughter of John and Anna Ferguson, was born at Akron, Ohio, Jan. 13, 1859, and died in Des Moines, Dec. 3, 1939.

Married John C. Oswalt on Oct. 26, 1879.

Burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, south of Prairie City.
