J. William Rootselaar was born April 21, 1870, at Pella, and died Sept. 27, 1937, at Cedar Rapids, Ia.

Married Gertrude Swank. She died and he was again married. This time to Anna Foust, on Sept. 6, 1933.

Burial at Pella.
