Catherine Adalaide Showalter, daughter of the John Showalters, was born in Delphi, Ind., Aug 1, 1851, and died Oct. 3, 1936, at Vandalia.

Married F. E. Cooper on Oct. 15, 1873.

Burial in the Vandalia Cemetery.
