James Stevens Stewart, son of John and Nancy Ann Stewart, was born Oct. 15, 1854, near Rising Sun, and died June 6, 1933 in the same Area.

Married Amanda Lawson at the age of 21 years.

Burial in the Stewart Cemetery which is located on his farm.
