Mrs. Mary Elrod, daughter of Samuel and Nancy (Lewis) Elliott, was born in McKeesport, Penn. on April 14, 1840, and died Dec. 2, 1933, at Carlisle, Ia.

She married John M. Elrod, at Elrods Ferry, now Beston ? Penn. on Dec. 4, 1856.

Burial in the Monroe Cemetery.
