James Orval Koons, son of Roy and Electa May Lutz, was born in Marion County, Ia. on May 29, 1894. and died on August 25, 1932.

Adopted by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Koons.

Married Ethel Acklin on June 24, 1914.
