Rosamond Stoner, eldest daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Stoner was born in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania August 10, 1862.

At the age of seven she moved with her parents to Prairie City.

She was married to James L. Green December 25, 1883.

Two children - Joseph L. Green of Washington D. C. and Zella Wallace of Woodhull, Illinois.

Surviving are her husband, J. L. Green, two children, Joseph L. Green and Mrs. Zella Wallace, two brothers, T. I. Stoner of Des Moines and J. P. Stoner of Prairie City; also five grandchildren.

Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
