Sylva Dell, third child of Henry and Martha Callaway was born near Vandalia, Iowa March 3, 1878 and died October 8, 1926 at her home near New Virginia.

She married Elmer Danley February 1, 1899. Two children - Veta Irene and Roy Clifford, who are both at home.

Surviving are her husband, two children, mother, four sisters, Mrs. Albert Shera, Mrs. Jay Streeter of New Virginia, Mrs. J. E. Frist of Runnells, Mrs. Raymond Luellen of Los Angeles, California, two brothers, Otis and Ivan Callaway of New Virginia.

Her father, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
